Cattle sales surge at Visalia marketing yard
H C Jackson manager of the California Bureau Marketing Association reports strong growth in cattle dealings through July 1954. Head count rose to 61,250 from 55,000 year to date, with dollar volume up as head orders in the Order Department climb over 35 percent. He forecasts 200,000 head for 1954, up from 160,000 in 1953.
