On Wednesday October 15 2003 Greater Bakersfield Legal Assistance will speak at the Shafter Collaborative Meeting from 4 to 5 pm in the Redwood Cafeteria near Richland School District Office 331 Shafter Avenue. The presentation covers VAWA domestic violence, custody, shelters and benefits. Nutrition Classes at 329 Central Valley Highway run Thursdays 10 to 11 am funded by Proposition 10 First Five Kern with childcare and car seat program.
