Kern County's physically handicapped schoolchildren from North Kern Cerebral Palsy School Wasco visited the Kern County Fair with escort from the Sheriff's Mounted Posse. Nineteen students and four staff, aided by over twenty posse members, enjoyed Big John's Circus and a balloon hat twist by Bozo. A prize drawing awarded a truck to one boy and a doll to a girl.
