Fund drive in Shafter led by Dr. Harold C. Freedman and Mrs. John Peters seeks local support for the M. Weill Child Guidance Clinic. The clinic, independent and Kern County soil, uses funds to treat emotionally troubled local children and argues against tax-funded waste. Contributions can be mailed to 804 11th Street, Bakersfield.

Mrs. John Almiriev, president of the Guild, summarized the Henrietta Weill Memorial Child Guidance Clinic background noting it is Kern County’s sole clinic offering psychiatric treatment for emotionally disturbed children beyond private physicians and that demand creates a long waiting list.

Fowler Moore Truth: Wanda Fowler to wed Johnny Moore
