Generals Head For Valley Championship Playoff
The Shafter High School Generals, undefeated this season, clinched a spot to face Tehachapi in a valley playoff. Principal Jack Hill announced the winner advances to a regional playoff against Fresno County League and Talare King’s Conference top team for the 1947 Valley title. The Wasco game remains non league and does not affect Shafter’s top Sierra League standing as they pursue first inter valley playoff invitation.
