World Waiting topic on Thursday at Shafter High graduation
The World is Waiting will be explored by four students at the Shafter High commencement on Thursday evening June 7 at 8 00 pm. Graduation committee chair Carol Giesbrecht announces she will deliver one speech with Olin Garrett Jack Robbins and Martha Partain as the other speakers. One hundred twenty one seniors will graduate marking a repeat year above 100. The program includes band chorus and orchestra. Ed Chi Carol is master of ceremonies. About 40 junior girls will serve as flower girls. Assistants include Cartnal Dorothy Howard James Banks and Ed Chilla. Dr Grant n sen principal will present the class and Chester W Neil will award.
