Champions to Race in Buena Vista Regatta
Dozens of boat racers compete Sunday in Buena Vista for the first northern central California regatta of the season. Nine races in two heats run from 11 am on a 1.67 mile surveyed oval course with top drivers from national amateur and professional ranks. Prize money totals 540 dollars, sponsored by Kern county chamber junior division, Kern County Boat Club, and South San Joaquin Yacht Club.
