School growth factors not apparent in Shafter
Growth factors for Kern County district from 1966-67 will not affect Shafter. Enrollment at Shafter High School is 1,024 in 1966-67 and projected to fall to 886 by 1974-75, so extensive building there is unlikely. Some building repair under the Field Act would cost about 201400, affecting the administration building, mechanical drawing, woodshop, art quarters, and part of the science building.
