Talent-Feinstein Combat Meth Act to pass Senate soon
Talent and Feinstein push the Combat Meth Act within the Patriot Act, restricting sale of meth precursors like pseudoephedrine and ephedrine, moving products behind the counter, and logging purchases. Endorsed by law enforcement, the measure aims to curb meth production while preserving access for legitimate buyers. The bill includes funding for enforcement, prosecutions, and drug endangered children programs, with passage anticipated and a White House signature likely.
