Veteran's Park Heads to Shine in Shafter Community

Showdown drama camp brings top actors and directors to town
Broadway and Hollywood professionals will lead the Shafter Showdown Drama Camp at Shafter High School from August 1 to 13. Local youth, even with no experience, can learn acting, directing, and theatre craft from notable figures including former Disney associates and a composer. The camp builds on Shafter High’s theatre history with a 2009 musical and the involvement of Joey Aguirre and visiting playwrights.
