Stingrays Sweep Medals At County Swim Championship
Shafter Stingrays earned 75 medals and 50 ribbons at Taft meet qualifying for Saturday’s Koen County Championship at Shafter Aquatic Center. Highlights include Alyssa Lewis with four golds, Eric Brown three golds, and multiple finalists across age groups 6 to 18. The final meet of the 1996 season is set for 8:30 a.m. with an Olympic style final.
