Coast Colleges Form Army Reserve Unit in Kern County
Sixth Army Headquarters activated the 660th Organized Reserve Composite Group in Kern County with headquarters in Bakersfield. Sub units will open in Taft Wasco and Mojave. Colonel Edwin K. Baum from the Signal Reserve is named commanding officer. Reserve officers seeking assignments should contact First Sergeant Robert P. Hatfield in Bakersfield.

Wildwood School District Seeks Reopening and Reversion
