Car Fire Damages 1936 Ford in Shafter Intersection

County Fire Department responded Saturday morning to a car fire at Lerdo and James. The 1936 Ford sedan owned by Kenneth Davis of Shafter was damaged by gasoline leaking from the carburetor onto a hot exhaust pipe. Estimated damage was about $35 according to the fire department report.

Cubs Collect 140 for March of Dimes Drive
