Shafter Ordinance No 62 Announces Annexation Hearings
The City of Shafter adopts Ordinance No 62 with provisions for annexation hearings for real property on March 10, 1947 at 7 PM. It prohibits street signs without permit, except news distribution, and prescribes penalties up to 300 dollars or three months in jail. The emergency ordinance takes effect immediately and repeals conflicting ordinances.
