Teen Court volunteers guide youths through restorative program
Since 1993 Teen Court in Wasco engages local judges sheriffs and police officers along with private attorneys and DA staff. Juvenile juries include student volunteers from area junior highs and high schools and returning graduates. The program aims to reduce reoffending and improve decision making while funding comes from court fines and private and corporate support.
