Kern County Water Association drives forward with subscriptions
About 15 percent of the 30 600 dollar goal is raised as local businesses and farmers back the Kern County Water Association drive. A trucking firm manager says support stems from frequent dealings with farmers and the need for supplemental water. Members from Delano to Taft join, and remittances of 10 dollars for annual membership are requested along with a 5 dollar annual fee for the Feather River Project Association.
