The marriage of Miss Maria La Verne Steele and Donald R. Wilkerson was performed with a single ring ceremony at the Chapel of the Mission Bells in Las Vegas Nevada on November 30. The bride, a 1963 Shafter High School graduate and USC senior, wore white lace over pale pink with a single orchid. The groom, La Verne Wilkerson of Long Beach, is a Narbonne High School alum and Army veteran employed by White Diesel Motor Co. They will reside in Seal Beach.
