Sealed proposals for the purchase of 250000 general obligation bonds of Shafter Public Utility District in Kern County California will be received at the District office in Shafter until 9:00 P.M. December 16 1947. The bonds consist of Sewer Works bonds 230000 and Water bonds 20000 with terms and rates to be bid. Each bid must state par and accrued interest and the bidder's price and interest rate. The Board may reject bids waive irregularities and bids must be cash or par with 3 percent guaranty. delivery in Shafter California. The sale is conducted under the Public Utility District Act of 1921.
