Stork Shower Held For Mrs Hamilton In Shafter
A stork shower was given last Monday evening for Mrs Elza Hamilton at the home of Mrs Lela Hamilton. Hostesses were Mesdames Lydia Doyle Lela Hamilton and Vada Westbrook. Guests included Mesdames W F Hamilton Fay Hamilton Emmit Gentry De Galbraith Albert Knopf Alva Rodgers C M Rodgers Richard Monroe A L Rodgers H D Anderson Myrtle Sapp Dick Lynd and Grandmother Farnbow all of Shafter Mrs Paul Frost of Wasco and Mrs Othe Collins of Bakersfield. Those sending gifts but unable to attend were Mesdames Earl Hamilton Hope Rodgers Mary Hunt Ollis Prickett and Ins Dominey of Shafter Sandy Collins of Bakersfield and Nita Frost of Wasco. The evening featured visiting games and refreshments of punch and cake.
