Stronger Young Men Tell of Boy Scout Activities
Kern County Boy Scouts of America leaders conduct Camp Kern activities to build stronger youth. The program emphasizes teamwork, fitness through swimming, running events, vaulting rails, paddling, canoe tilting, and log birling. The 50 Mile Award recognizes group effort. last year 114 swimmers earned merit badges. Camp closes August 24.
