Game biologists report white bass in Nacimiento Reservoir near Paso Robles thriving in open water. Twenty one fish were netted in a recent check, part of a long running program begun in 1965 to introduce Roccus chrysops from Oklahoma and Nebraska as a new sport fish for California anglers.
