Mrs Italia Romanini 71 Buttonwillow Pioneer Dies at Home
Mrs Italia Romanini 71 longtime Buttonwillow resident died Monday at 234 West Second Street from a heart ailment. High requiem mass will be held Saturday at St Francis Church Bakersfield with burial at Union. Her son Dino Romanini and relatives in Europe and Hawaii travel back for the funeral. Survived by four grandchildren and numerous relatives. She came to Buttonwillow as a bride in 1912 and was born February 24 1894 in Antraccoli Italy. She was a St Marys Catholic Church member.
