Federal Housing Permit Limit Raised to 2000 Square Feet
District Director John E. McGovern announces that federal permits through FHA local offices now allow owner occupiers to build homes up to 2000 square feet, up from 1500, under conditions including four or more bedrooms or space needs for a business.
