Free tax help urged before April deadline at VITA sites
The IRS and California Franchise Tax Board urge low income elderly disabled and non English speaking taxpayers to use VITA volunteers for free federal and state returns. Bring W2 1099 copies last year tax return and 1990 income data. Call 1-800-TAX-1040 for nearest site and note April 15 midnight session at the Federal Building.
