Former Shafter resident S. C. Tucker died in Oakdale after a heart attack in a doctor's office in Paso Robles while en route to San Francisco. Survived by widow Bonnie May Tucker of Oildale, two sons Ralph and Tommy Tucker, daughter Mrs. Braxton Mills, three grandchildren, and brothers William K. Tucker of Shoemaker Arkansas and Ben H. Tucker of Hughes Arkansas, plus Mrs. Noah Maxwell of Hughes.
