Deal in Ivory and Gold A Nevada mining tale of con games
In Rawhide and Goldfield two gangsters plot to grab the Shawbeck mine through a high stakes poker game. Doc Floyd and Jack Cleland target Maj. Skinner, a slick promoter, after a Nevada visit turns into a risky scheme. They lure him with forged trust and a fake bank gamble to steal control and funds, then head back to Los Angeles while leaving a $5,000 windfall for a widow.
