Computer poets spark beatnik verse at RCA center
At a Wall Street data processing center RCA engineer Clair Phillippy used a 301 computer to generate four line blank verse from a 100 word base. The system produces poetry with lines rivaling Donne Blake Eliot and Cummings though Phillippy dislikes poetry. More than 4 000 selections have been produced.
