Final zoning hearing set for March 23 at Bonner County Courthouse
The last session of the continued public zoning hearing is scheduled for Thursday March 23 at 7 30 p m in the Bonner County Courthouse. Planners and residents failed to agree on re zoning for the area north of the city limits bounded by Kootenai Cutoff Road Bonners Ferry Highway and Union Pacific tracks. Also on the agenda are Ray Raineri Paradise View Estates and Robert Razor Pine Bluffs Addition No 1 presented by Dick Tucker.

Pend Oreille Lake Inflows Rise With Warm Weather
Inflow to Pend Oreille Lake climbs to about 60 000 cfs while Albeni Falls Dam discharge reaches 50 000 cfs. Lake level reaches 2056.03 on March 21 1972 and is expected to ease toward 2054.0 over the next two or three weeks as cooler weather returns. The plan is to regulate the lake between 2054 and 2054.5 under Army Engineer direction.
