Modern rustlers use portable corrals to steal cattle

In Kaycee Wyoming ranchers form the Powder River Protective Association to combat increased cattle theft. They report about 25,000 head of cattle across 1,000 square miles and plan to hire an agent to patrol the range with trucks and portable corrals.
