Five Star Mother Celebrates 65th Wedding Anniversary
A Sandpoint woman Sophia Kline aged 83 and her 88 year old husband A J Kline marked their 65th anniversary with all five living sons present. Married in 1906 in Clifton Kansas they lived in Oklahoma City and Heron Montana before settling in Sandpoint in 1966. Their family includes Al Ray Jerry Roland and Kenneth with 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Mrs Kline remains active and both claim long health.

Michael Leroy Mongan 30 of Libby Montana was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after blocking a car on Dufort Road near Round Lake State Park. Jeff Yates 20 of Sandpoint reported throat grab and blows to face and head, with injuries requiring hospital care. Bond set at 1000. another man present but uninvolved.
