Sandpoint Man Enlists in Army with 1500 Bonus
Eugene Patrick Sullivan of Sandpoint has enlisted in the US Army, joining the Combat Arms with the 9th Infantry Division. He will train at Ft. Ord and Ft. Lewis, receiving a $1500 bonus after completing Advanced Individual Training, under a four-year commitment. recruiter SFC Elmer Garrett notes the bonus was promised in writing.
