The village beauty pageant reaches its climax tonight at 8:30 p.m. with Miss Saline to be crowned during ceremonies at the Saline Community Fair. Judging occurred Tuesday at Leutheuser's Restaurant and Jaycees will treat contestants to a Leutheuser's dinner before the final crown. Saline Police responded to a 4 pm call on Sept 2 to aid Fontana Taylor Ambulance transporting Alfonso Lopez of 204 E Henry St to Saline Community Hospital where he was admitted for an undisclosed illness and remained a patient Tuesday. Barbara Osmer and Kenneth Rogers Jr sustained minor injuries in a two vehicle crash on U.S. 12 at Lewis St when Osmer allegedly rear ended Rogers. both treated and released.
