After tense talks the Saline Board of Education and Saline Education Association reached a verbal agreement in the early hours. The fact finder proposed terms including a $7000 starting BA salary, $13300 max MA plus 30 hours, and a two year contract with end of year re openers on salary insurance and sabbatical. Starting pay outside Saline would be eight years but not retroactive.
