Dorothy Quick, longtime Saline city bookkeeper and community volunteer, died after a yearlong illness. She led a busy life with family square dancing, skating groups, and local clubs, survived by her husband and three daughters. Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church with burial in Oakwood cemetery.

New Inn to Open With Historic Name Sauk Trail Inn
The Sauk Trail Inn opens weekends at the Old Mill on the town’s west edge. Owner Tom Doenges, EMU graduate and former Saline Observer GM, bought the mill in June and refurbished it.
