Council Delays Action On Stonecliff Subdivision Approval
Saline City Council postponed tentative approval of Bob Guenther s Stonecliff Subdivision on 26 acres north of Austin Road near Mill Pond Park. The 44 home project priced 80 000 to 100 000 faces street width 32 feet two dead end streets no sidewalks and a single side walkway. A work session next week will discuss further plat revisions before the December 19 meeting.

Saline Police Report Highlights From Week Of Auto Crashes
Saline police logged two personal injury crashes last week. Edwin Gieske, 26, was pinned by his rolling car, treated for leg contusions, and released. An elderly Lincoln Park man refused treatment after a collision on Michigan Ave causing $300 damage. A SHS student’s VW was found overturned in the parking lot and righted by a wrecker. Police also investigated counterfeit plates, a shoplifting warrant, and a lawnmower found near Henry and Davenport Streets. Football fever tied OSU and UM as fans rallied in Saline with cap sales and decorations nearby.
