PTO to See Style Show at High School Meeting
The High School PTO hosts a style show titled Doing Our Thing at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the all purpose room. Home economics students grade 9-12, taught by Cheryl Henes and Mrs. George Washburn, present the show and dessert. New PTO officers are Pete Kri Visky. Raymond Ida, Mrs. Bart Strahley, and Miss Henes. A Rotary Club noon meeting at Leutheuser's Restaurant features film highlights from the 1967 and 1968 baseball seasons and World Series.

McCoy Led Musical Youth International Icon Dies
Lester McCoy longtime musical director and adviser to Musical Youth International and University of Michigan Choral Union died at 60. He inspired hundreds of Michigan youths, directed high school chorus, and helped Rotary hosts abroad. He taught at Morningside College and received an honorary doctorate in 1966.

Prof Tinkle Nominated for School Board
A petition has been filed to nominate Prof Donald W. Tinkle of 3527 Weber Rd. as a candidate for the school board.
