Saline student finalist in regional Best Salesman contest
Keita Reickhoff, 16, of 856 Lambkins Rd., Saline, was a finalist in a Southeastern Michigan Junior Achievement Best Salesman of the Year contest. She previously won the Best Salesman title at JA's Ann Arbor Business Center for selling a product to a typical housewife.

Ford Saline Plant to Expand for 1971 Production Boost
Ford Motor Company plans a major expansion of its Saline Plastics Plant adding 375 000 square feet to push size to 1 265 000 square feet and create 300 new jobs. The project follows an 87 000 square foot expansion and will include large injection molding presses and chrome plating facilities. Production is set to rise from 45 million pounds in 1970 to 75 million pounds by 1972 with new electrocore coating process scheduled for June.
