Saline Sponsors School Community Workshop Let’s Communicate
Saline High School hosts a March 28 workshop at 7 30 pm in the High School Auditorium to foster open discussion among students, administrators, teachers, parents, and the community. Gordon Fielder heads the planning committee for the event which features small topic groups and a final large discussion moderated by Jim Lewis.

Police report thefts and juvenile runaways in Adrian area
Tools worth 20 dollars stolen from a Dale Heilmann car on Hartman Lane March 15. Gordon Bennett reports theft of a top coat two flashlights and other items from a Saline car on March 17 in the A and P parking lot. Four Lenawee County girls run away and are returned to Adrian March 15. Two Boysville runaways apprehended March 16 and returned. Bridge club winners named for Saline event.

High School Groups Aid Saline Blood Bank Clinic
All Around High School FHA will babysit donors at the Saline Area Blood Bank Clinic on Monday and Tuesday while FFA members set up at the Saline Community Center on Monroe Street. Toys for toddlers were made. Wanda Finn notes fewer than 100 pledge cards by March 20 with over 350 donors expected. Kiwanis Club names George Miller as blood chairman. Late appointments and walk ins accepted. free rides offered.

Easter Concert and Clinic Hours for Saline Community
Saline Town offers Saline Cab Co transport from Paul Arms. Clinic hours are 11 am to 5 pm Monday and 2 30 to 8 30 pm Tuesday. An Easter Concert by the High School Band is set for Wednesday March 29 at 7 30 pm in the High School Auditorium. The program spans Bach to contemporary pieces in a hour long performance. Public invited. Student teachers Diane Weisheit and Dale Cheal will conduct. A gerbil died in Richard Holzhauer's class during a move to the 39 year old building's first floor.

Blast From the Past Promises Big Saline High Show
Saline prepares for a two night Blast from the Past musical at the high school theater this Friday and Saturday. More than 100 cast and crew, including pit musicians, rehearse late, with tickets selling fast at Harold's Barber Shop or by calling Barbara O'Brien. Proceeds benefit school music programs and a post show party caps the event.
