Butcher Boy Meat Inc Former Owner Fined For Short Weight
Donald Francis, former owner of Butcher Boy Meat Inc in Saline, was sentenced by District Court Judge Henry Arkison to two years probation and a $496 fine and costs plus $204 restitution after underweighing 439 pounds of beef sold to Charlotte Banks. Resealer Robert A. Hart called it the stiffest fine he has issued. The Francis store has closed and reopened under new management and name.
