The Citizens Bank of Saline held its annual shareholders meeting January 26 1971 at 1 00 p m followed by a 3 00 p m board meeting. Directors elected were Gerald Bahnmiller Richard L Boyd George Cress Webb Harwood Harry Holmes H W Kuebler Francis Lockwood Arthur Lutz Dr Gordon Prout Stanton Roesch Carl Schrandt Clifford Simmons. Board officers elected were H W Kuebler chairman and president Richard L Boyd executive vice president Harry A Holmes vice president Francis N Lockwood cashier D N Jeppesen assistant cashier. President Kuebler gave a resume of the bank 1970 year.

Birthday Surprise Returns Favorite Memories
Amanda Meddaugh was surprised on Monday when four old friends visited her door with a birthday party. Faye Summers Catherine Weber of Ypsilanti and Bernie Firestone Edah Bucholz of Ann Arbor joined the gathering, bringing a bouquet and refreshments. The group previously worked with Amanda at the King Seeley plant in Ann Arbor before her retirement.
