In mid January a leather attache case was stolen from Roy Dechert’s truck in downtown Saline. The case held Saline Post VFW cards and the VFW checkbook. Maryland concert goes on despite move and weather
The University of Maryland Band performed Tuesday at the Saline Junior High School after the High School gym roof failed. Despite a smaller crowd and a net loss, funding will be covered by the Maryland band, the Saline Band Parents Club, and Saline student funds. The evening remained enjoyable for both audience and performers. Next week the Saline Kiwanis meet February 1 at the Wooden Nickel to focus on membership growth and explain club goals.

Michigan Youth Symphony To Play Saline Debut
The Michigan Youth Symphony, a 125 member group from across the state, will perform at Saline High School on Sunday March 28. Tickets cost 2 for adults 1 for students or 5 for the family with proceeds split between the Youth Symphony and Saline Bands.
