Annexation decision prompts mixed plans for Saline site
Ken Heininger said the State Boundary Commission order annexing 136 acres at Saline-Ann Arbor and Waterworks Road into Saline will not change the Schultz farm area quickly. The group plans a 230-home development with 22% land donated to the city or Saline Schools, utilities to a school site, and potential buffer parcels. Prices target around 40 000 with some in the 35 000–36 000 range. at least 10 home designs are planned, and discussions with City Council and Planning Commission are sought.
