Elementary Parents Elect New Officers for 1962 63
Officers for the 1962 1963 school year were elected Monday night by the Elementary School Parents association at the final meeting of the year. M. M. Hinckley will serve as president and also chair the school Carnival on May 4. Other officers elected include Mrs. Gustav Lindemann as vice president, Mrs. George Cameron as secretary, and Mrs. Wayne Smead as treasurer. The annual breakfast for outgoing room mothers is set for May 14.
Saline Women Dominate Pin Tourney at Colonial Lanes
Saline bowlers shared the prize money at the Women's Bowling Association Tournament held at Colonial Lanes in Ann Arbor. Audrey Feuerbacher tied for first in the singles with 592 actual and 685 handicap. Judy Hill led the nine-game all events with 1545 actual and 1869 handicap, while Wanda Burkhart posted the high game of 267 actual and 292 handicap. Six Saline squads earned money in the team event, and several pairs finished among the money places in doubles. Judy Hill and Mary Ann Johnson finished tenth in doubles with 1167. Other money winners included Alice Goltz with Shirley Rieckhoff and additional Saline pairs.

City residents rated medical care highest at 97.5 percent very good or adequate, with fire protection and newspaper service also well above 90 percent. Parking was deemed very good or adequate by 72.5 percent, but recreational facilities lagged, with only 41.7 percent approving facilities for children and 43.4 percent for adults. 79 percent approved parks and picnic areas.

Lodi township supervisor Er win Frederick of 4410 S Wag ner Rd was elected chairman of the Washtenaw county Board Of Supervisors at the annual meeting in the County Building on Tuesday.
