Arrest of Saline area man for failing to register
Rudolph J. Schumaier, 20, of 9608 Mooreville Rd Saline township, was arrested on a charge of failure to register for Selective Service. The FBI Detroit office announced the arrest. A complaint was filed Sept 5 before United States District Judge Ralph M. Freeman in Detroit.

One Traffic Mishap In Saline This Weekend
A single minor two car collision occurred Sunday afternoon at the US 112 and Dell Road intersection. Dale R Valine of Tecumseh and Francis Moynihan of Ann Arbor drove the involved vehicles, with estimated damages of 600 dollars to Valine’s car and 200 dollars to Moynihan’s station wagon.
