School Board Awards Building Contract For High School Work
The board awarded Bridgewater Lumber Company a about 40000 contract to add two rooms to the north wing of the high school. One room will be a farm shop and the other an agricultural classroom. It will also extend adjacent classrooms to create space for a 4th grade. The current class meets at St Paul Church House and will move once space is ready. After the elementary addition is done the room becomes a community kitchen. Construction starts immediately with completion hoped for early December. Two more classrooms will be added to the elementary school using savings from contracts and lower interest rates to stay within the existing budget.
