The Saline Community Fair poultry show will auction off exhibitors pens to benefit the Polio Fund. Don Burmeister notes efforts to keep poultry sanitary, and buyers will bid on pens donated by exhibitors. Ray mond Girbach and Mrs Kay Burr approved the plan with pens labeled for donor and buyer. Clarence Haarer arranged for purchase and dressing of poultry at a nominal fee. The sale occurs Friday afternoon and proceeds support polio work in the county.

Saline residents are urged to join a larger fair featuring horses cattle swine sheep poultry rabbits and flowers plus jars canned produce and hobbies.
