Sudden Death of Saline Man
Lawrence Ernest Rentschler died suddenly at Saline General Hospital after a brief illness of under 24 hours. He was 88, born near Saline, lived in Lodi township, worked as a Ford Motor Company mechanic in Dearborn, and is survived by his mother Christina Rentschler of Saline and brother Carl at Ypsilanti State Hospital. Funeral was at Lockwood Funeral Home with Rev. Alvin Siemsen officiating, burial in Oakwood cemetery.
