Harold Vaughn of Saline Valley Farms has adopted Anna Wyten a six year old Belgian girl through the Foster Parents Plan for War Children. Mrs Edna Blue Plan executive chairman announced yesterday. Mrs. George Seeger Rested After Long Illness
Mrs. George W. Seeger died Friday at Saline General Hospital after two weeks of critical illness. Born March 19, 1876 in York township, she married George Seeger March 19, 1902 and lived in Saline. She was a member of St. Paul’s Church and the Ladies’ Aid and Order of Eastern Star, survived by husband, a daughter Lucille Henderson, two granddaughters, a brother and a sister. Burial Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Alvin Siemsen officiating.

Old Saline Resident Wilhelmina Papsdorf Dies At 88
Mrs. Wilhelmina Papsdorf, aged 88, died Monday morning at the home of her son Bruno in Saline township after long illness. She lived in Saline Township since 1906 with the St. James Evangelical church community and leaves four sons Fred Theodore Paul and Bruno and a daughter Mrs Carl Finkbeiner plus 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Interment was in St James cemetery with Rev Carl Haneberg officiating.

Fred Brenton a 78 year old resident of Freedom township died Monday night at Sa line General Hospital after a long illness. He was born January 26 1867 and survived by two brothers Rev E H Brenson of Manchester and Phillip Brenson of Santa Monica California. Funeral services will be at 2 p m Thursday at St Pauls church with Rev Alvin Siemsen and Rev H Wittbracht officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery. Friends may call at Lockwood Funeral Home until noon Thursday. The body will lie in state at the church from noon until time of services.
