Mrs Nora B Wood 51 died Monday at St Josephs Mercy hospital Ann Arbor after a brief illness Born June 5 1888 in Saline township she was a daughter of Mrs Ida Stierle Burkhardt and the late John Burkhardt Survived by five sisters and several nieces and nephews A private service was held at her mother's residence and a later service at St Pauls church Interment in Oakwood cemetery

William J. Guenther age 63 died after a lingering illness at his Lodi township home. He was born March 23 1876 in Saline township and married Lydia B Stoll on December 10 1902. Surviving are his wife a son Ellwyn a daughter Mrs Erwin Fisemann two brothers a sister and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services were conducted at his residence and Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev H J Engel officiating. Interment followed in Oakwood Cemetery.
