Universe and Atom Compare in Moral Reflection
Philosopher Phillips discusses how the vast universe and the tiny atom share fundamental principles. He argues individuals shape global vice or virtue through honesty, morality, and personal choices, warning that public wrongdoing mirrors private stance.
Double standard praise for virtue and national ideals
The speaker denounces a hypocritical stance that tolerates vice while condemning it. He urges a force for good through the atom analogy and calls on humanity to resolve to do good guided by the ten commandments. He underscores collective responsibility as the source of moral progress.
